After a successful NBA and Euroleague career Omri Casspi is hanging up his jersey. Casspi’s impact on Israeli/Jewish basketball may be the largest ever. He was a vocal advocate for Israel and opened many doors for players like Gal Mekel and American players who went to Israel to hone their skills before coming to the NBA.
