The Creator
In the summer of 2009 Jeremy was getting married. While his beautiful wife Jessica was hashing out wedding details, Jeremy started a blog combining his two passions; sports and Judaism. As a child Jeremy played sports religiously until religiosity took over his life. He played high school basketball in Chicago averaging 23 points a game his senior season. His athletic career pretty much came to an end there and so he began his quest to become a rabbi. In 2012 he was ordained as a rabbi from the Jewish Theological Seminary.
The Blog
The Great Rabbino blog has regularly been featured on JewishJournal.com, TCJewFolk.com, and OyChicago.com. TGR has also been seen in the Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Sentinel, and several Jewish print/online publications. Highlights include feature articles in The Jewish World News, Chicago Jewish News, Israeli Radio, and 365 Scoops.
The Speakers Bureau
Due to the close relationships Jeremy has formed with many of the athletes combined with his passion for entrepreneurship he launched a speakers bureau for Jewish athletes and sports personalities. Events have included:

Through the blog and thanks to his congregation Jeremy has been able to interview athletes and entertainers of the highest caliber. The list includes superstar athletes like Dolph Schayes, Nancy Lieberman, and Andre Tippet and entertainers Mel Brooks, Aaron Sorkin, Rob Reiner and Mayim Bialik.
