This year, former Yeshiva mega-star Ryan Turell took to the G-League sporting his kippah as the first Orthodox Jew to play professionally in a NBA sponsored league. He was drafted in the first round of the 2022 G-League draft by the Motor City Cruise. Turell played in 31 games. He averaged 3.8ppg, 1.5 rpg, and 0.4 apg. The team finished near the bottom of the league. Mazel Tov to Turell on year 1 and looking forward to year 2!
