Israel Baseball captured the Silver in the European Championships. This was their highest finish ever. The team made up of mostly native born Israelis lost in the Finals to the Netherlands. Up 4-1 in the 6th, the Netherlands bats got hot. Israel only took 17 of the 24 players allowed to the tournament. Olympians Ty Kelly and Rob Paller rounded out the club.
