Mount Rushmore Series: Female Olympians

Jews have done very well in the Olympic Games. Therefore we split up the females and males into their own Mount Rushmore. Swimmer Dara Torres won her first Gold Medal in 1984, her second in 1992, and then two more in her comeback in 2000. In her second comeback in 2008 she swam to 3 Silver Medals. Overall she holds 4 Gold, 4 Silvers, and 4 Bronze. Aly Raisman stole Americas heart as an Olympic Champion raking up 3 Golds, 2 Silvers, and 1 Bronze. But before there was Raisman, Kerri Strug’s injured 1996 performance still stands as one of America’s greatest Olympic moments. Strugg has a Gold and Bronze to her trophy case. At the head of the statues is Ágnes Keleti whose 5 Golds, 3 Silvers and 2 Bronzes in gymnastics for Hungary is still known as one of the more legendary competitors of all-time.
