80. Bruce Fleisher – His highest PGA ranking was 14 and he had 1 PGA Tournament win. For a sport without a lot of Jewish representation, Fleisher is one of the best of the JPGA.
79. Sarah Hughes – 2002 Olympic Gold Medalist in Ice Skating has aspirations for a political career.
78. Taylor Mays – An incredible college career that didn’t hold up in the NFL. His influence in college football and the importance of being a black Jew is inspirational to many.
77. Alex Bregman- By the end of his career Bregman will be much higher on this list. His numbers are great but the influential piece will likely happen down the road.
76. Amy Alcott – Winner of 5 Majors Tournaments on the LPGA Tour, Alcott is also in the LPGA Hall of Fame.
75. Gal Mekel – The 2nd Israeli NBA player had a short lived NBA career but a strong Israeli basketball career. Who will always be #2 (in a good way).
74. Joc Pederson – Pederson was the first player who truly benefitted from the WBC exposure with Team Israel. He has gone on to be a solid MLB player and recently rejoined the team for the last WBC.
73. Harris Barton – 3X Super Bowl Champion and 2X First Team All Pro, his number also honored by North Carolina.
72. John Frank – 2X Super Bowl Champion and 2X First Team All Big Ten, Frank has had an impact on the field and off.
71. Doron Sheffer – If the UConn Legend would have played one game in the NBA he could have found himself in the top 20. Sheffer’s college days are legendary and paved the way for the Omri Caspi’s and future generations of Israeli basketball players.
