Chaim Bloom Gone from Red Sox

After four years as the General Manager of the Red Sox, Boston has released GM Chaim Bloom. Bloom was not handed the best deck of cards but the team stated they were not competitive enough. Bloom is known as a very approachable and likable GM and many reporters noted that he was one of the best they have ever dealt with.

Bloom noted in his statement, “I will always be grateful to John (Henry), Tom (Werner), Mike (Gordon) and Sam (Kennedy) for trusting me to lead the Red Sox baseball operations department.” Boston will begin a search and it us unknown what Bloom will do next. We will stay tuned.
